We offer both private and public mala-making workshops, where we guide you step-by-step through the process of creating your own 108-bead, hand-knotted mala necklace that you can use in meditation or prayer, or simply wear as a piece of beautiful and meaningful jewelry.
Making a mala can be a very meditative and positive experience in and of itself. In these workshops, we will share instructions and support as you create your very own mala. You’ll be able to choose from over 25 different types of natural stone beads to design your mala and you’ll finish your necklace with a guru bead and a handmade tassel.
Space is limited at our public workshops! Check our list of upcoming events and email or call us to reserve your spot.
Or – if you’d like to gather a group of friends together for a private mala workshop, contact us to find a date that will work for your group and we’ll bring the fun (and the beads) to you!
Lots of people ask us about bringing their children to a workshop. If your child enjoys creating things and working with their hands, then they would probably enjoy coming to a workshop. Mala workshop prices are typically between $55 and $65 but vary by location (as different perks like coffee or wine are included in the cost depending on the location).
